Bakes NWI - Saturday, July 28 2007 : 10 am to 5 pm

The 3rd Annual Bakes Northwest Wakeboard Invitational Double Up event is nearing for 2007.  Make your way out to the show happening Saturday, July 28 in Renton, WA at the beautiful Gene Coulon Park located on the Lake Washington waterfront.

The event is packed full with the Northwest’s best riders.  In addition to the talent on the water, we will have the three most respected filmers in the area serving as judges.  Head judge will be the man responsible for “The Butter Effect,” “Bent Felix,” and next season’s release titled “Drive” … Sean Kilgus of  BFY Productions.  Joining Kilgus will be “The Good Times” maker Jared Eygabroad of Scratch Films.  Finally, the young prodigy that recently brought us “The Arrival,” Spencer Norris will round out the men deciding who rides on and who fails to make the cut.

The event usually serves up conditions which require some skill behind the wheel.  Bring together the unpredictable conditions of Lake Washington, the narrow confines of the course, and rider’s that expect solid Double Ups, and you have the need for equal but opposite talent handling the Northwest Riders 2007 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV on the water.  Pulling duties this year is a driver with more than an impressive resume, Eric Sund.  Sund makes his living throwing some of the best Dubs in the business daily at Koppert Lake.

Bakes Marine Center and Bakes Board & Ski of Issaquah, WA have always supported the Northwest wake scene the right way.  With arguably the most stacked wake team in all of the Northwest, their support of filmers such as Sean Kilgus and now Spencer Norris, and one of the best Malibu Boat dealerships in the country, you know that the 2007 Bakes NWI will be an event you do not want to miss out on.
