WakeboardNorthwest.com http://www.wakeboardnorthwest.com Wakeboarding, wakeskating and wakeboard news in the Northwest Thu, 27 Sep 2012 03:03:20 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.6.3 en Super Air Nautique G23 http://www.wakeboardnorthwest.com/general/super-air-nautique-g23/ http://www.wakeboardnorthwest.com/general/super-air-nautique-g23/#comments Tue, 03 Apr 2012 16:55:10 +0000 Zack http://www.wakeboardnorthwest.com/?p=1122

The all new (and pretty unbelievable) Super Air Nautique G23 wake boat has finally been unveiled and it is impressive. The lines and overall aesthetic is super clean looking and definitely is a head turner. Some notes from the Nautique website straight off of the Super Air Nautique G23 page:

For years Nautique has been working with its elite team of athletes on a project that will change the possibilities of what you can do behind a wake boat. We started with a clean slate and created a wake that gives every rider the opportunity to do things they have only dreamed possible. The Super Air Nautique G23 represents the start of a new era, and will push your limits and expectations as a rider. Inside and out, this boat delivers an experience that surpasses every wake boat in the marketplace. The all-new Super Air Nautique G23 has redefined what a wake boat can be.

Performance and Styling: The all-new Nautique Configurable Running Surface (NCRS) fine-tunes the hull surface under any condition using the latest technology in our Nautique LINC system. With over 2,800 lbs. of sub-floor internal ballast, the G23 offers you maximum ballast with maximum storage and a world class wake without the need for additional weight. Every inch of this hull was designed to create a wake that will work for every level of riding, at any speed and line length.

This allows you to set the boat up to the preferences of every rider in the boat without sacrificing a clean lip, long transitions, and solid pop.

The cutting-edge design doesn't stop at the water line. The styling and craftsmanship that has gone into designing the interior of this boat is like nothing that has come before it. From the ergonomics of the seats to the functionality of the seating configurations, no stone was left unturned in designing every aspect of the fit and finish.

Service & Care -

Maintenance Record:
The Northwest Riders 2008 Malibu vRide has had regularly scheduled maintenance at all of the necessary points in the proper upkeep of a wake boat. Bakes Marine Center of Issaquah, WA took excellent care in keeping this boat in tip-top running/mechanical shape. We have all of the service records available for potential buyers to have a look at. Proper fluid levels, impeller changes, oil changes, transmission checks, fuel efficiency checks, and other detailed service are just a few of the many areas monitored to ensure the best possible upkeep of this beautiful Malibu vRide.

Cleaning & Care:
This boat is a part of our company as we provide wakeboarding lessons throughout the summers and put on events in the area. We know many companies that use their boat in a similar fashion as us that will put more than the fair amount of wear and tear on it each season. At Northwest Riders, we are very intentional with letting our customers know how to care for the boat. No shoes are allowed inside on the interior, no “messy” foods are ever in the boat, and a proper wipe down always follows the day’s events.

In addition, we pulled the boat out of the water (it is moored on-water in the summer) multiple times per month to thoroughly wash and detail the exterior and interior. Vinyl, hull, and even the tower and trailer are not left off the list of things to tidy up.

Finally, at the end of each season we pay to have the boat professionally detailed. This includes cleaning up the gel coat completely and waxing it to an “as-new” shine. Then, we have the boat winterized and put away snug for the off-season. We bring in all of the removable cushions and store them indoors as well.

All the high-flying, rail-sliding, water-sports action will take place on Lake Tye, where the sport’s top pros will compete for a cash purse and crucial points toward the season standings for the coveted Pro Tour title.

Defending Pro Tour titlist Phillip Soven paces the Pro Men’s division with 290 points, after taking back to back wins in Fort Worth, Tex. and Colorado Springs, Colo. The “Iceman” has been on fire lately, throwing super-technical tricks from start to finish at the previous two contests to surge to the top of the rankings, making the 22-year-old Florida native the man to beat in Monroe.
