Nick Jones Has Surgery To Repair A Nagging Foot Injury

I am sitting here at the hospital in the waiting room while Nick Jones is still in surgery. Nick has been plagued by an injury that occurred in Januray. However, it did not stop him from having another great season. He finished in the top 20 of the Pro Wakeboard Tour, appeared in the industry magazines, attended the CWB team photoshoot, and even had time to film a few sections for next years wake flicks. Nick Jones is truly one of the best Northwest grown riders.
He is having surgery today to repair a Liz Frank Fracture (a tear of the ligament between the first and second metatarsal) in his foot which was slowly pulling the two bones apart. Nick is determined to start riding again in January after therapy is complete. We wish Nick all the best during his recovery. Please keep Nick and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Stay tuned for further updates post his surgery.

What up bro, it’s all behind you now and it will be soooo nice not to have to ride in pain next year. Trying to put togeather a late season Shasta trip with Spencer to get a little more footage, you down for driving one of the boats? I lost my phone and all my numbers, when your feeling better give me a ring. Glad to hear everything went well.

Hey Nick…glad surgery went well…hope you have a speedy recovery…make sure your mom and sis take good care of you…I’d ask for home baked cookies and pies daily to help your recovery…just an idea! Keep me posted…CJC

Hey thanks guys. The doc was stoked on the outcome of the surgery, so I should be good as new in a couple months. I def could use some cookies, and I’ve heard from Justin Nix that the Hoffmans make amazing cookies.

Tom Chi, works at Overlake Surgery Center. He’s actually an avid waterskier. Ski’s with Eddie Roberts Jr. on occasion and is out on Sammamish and Washington when hes not in the operating room.

Nick I won’t lie that movie pathfinder the other night was pretty lame. So anyone thinking of watching that don’t do it, even in Nicks doped up state he thought it was boring haha. Quick recovery bro… Im praying for ya and praise God we never had to take the Bee trailer to the dump your surgery saved us from that night mare. Well bro Im pretty sure I will have to be making some cookies for you to show all these poser cooks whats up haha later.. nj
