Northwest Film Makers Sean Kilgus of BFY Productions (DRIVE), Jared Eygabroad of Scratch Films (GodSpeed), and Spencer Norris of WIT Productions (One Eye Shut) have all released NEW Wakeboard Videos for this 2008 Wake Season. WakeboardNorthwest.com has covered the filming process of each video over the last year. We will be posting interviews with each of the film makers, many of the riders within the videos, as well as photo galleries from our on location travels and documentary.

Sean Kilgus, BFY Productions, has created another masterpiece in DRIVE. He has stretched the limits to bring us, the viewers, unique angles during the filming of this video. The use of zip lines during slider sessions will truly give us a vantage point and perspective unseen before. The time has finally come. Sean Kilgus and BFY Productions have finished the new 16MM wakeboard film titled, “DRIVE.” With the top riders in the world featured in the film, throwing down some of the best tricks caught on film to date…you will be blown away!

Everyone is invited!! Over a year and a half in the making…”Drive” from BFY Productions is almost here. Filmer extraordinaire, Sean Kilgus, is currently in the edit cave as you read this. The video is said to be looking amazing so far. “I can’t wait to deliver the goods in three weeks!” says Kilgus. The tickets will be available on TicketMaster.com next week. Get in early because this will sell out! The venue has limited space available for 1,100 lucky fans.

“Drive” started off in Seattle, with the likes of Benny Greenwood, Jeff McKee, and Randall Harris setting off on Lake Washington. Then the teaser did just that…teased us fans of wake just enough. That was followed up by some coverage in the magazines. DRIVE continues to wet the palate with glimpses of the video popping up all over.

Sean Kilgus, of BFY Productions, is in the process of filming DRIVE. Again Kilgus has assembled the top riders in the sport to create what looks to be his best cinematic achievement in DRIVE. The entire video has been shot with HD Super 16mm Film. Look for the film to release in Spring 2008.
