Jared Eygabroad, of Scratch Films, is in the process of filming his NEW video GODSPEED. He’s filmed with a variety of Northwest Riders that include Bret V, Thomas Olson, Robby Carter, Chris Craig, Nike Ennen, Silas Thurman, and the list goes on. Eygabroad is shooting his NEW film around the Northwest region in locations such as Gig Harbor, Northern Idaho, Koppert Lake, and local rivers throughout the Northwest part of Oregon.

This weekend Koppert Lake is hosting “Freeriders Ball”, a two-day Wakeboard Tournament. A number of Northwest Riders are slated to ride in this comp. Current list of riders confirmed : Mike and Nick Ennen, Mike and Nick Cardoza, Bret V, Rob Carter, Alex Scagliotti, Sam Cole, Silas Thurman, and Jared Eygabroad of Scratch Films. The competition has divisions for all riding levels with different categories for each ability. Remember, this is an all weekend event so bring your family and friends to watch the best talent from around our region compete.

Our friend Eric Sund, who is on site Koppert Lake Staff, will be showing videos on a projector screen Saturday night for entertainment, and he invites everyone to campout and enjoy the festivities.

The 2007 Bakes NWI Double Up event was once again a success building on last year’s popularity and reputation as the premier event for wakeboarding in Washington State. Drawing in the top talent from the region, the Bakes NWI saw large crowds and large action with riders getting boosted all day long.

Jared Eygabroad, of Scratch Films, has presented a challange. We wanted to help him in his quest for a name for his NEW video.

“Well, it’s about that time of year to start thinking of a name for the new video and I caught myself thinking, ” That’s a lot of hard work. Why don’t I let someone else do that?” So, if you’re out there in cyberspace and can think of the perfect name for the next video, we will not only use it, but we’ll put you in the credits as the “Title Provider.” I know, I know, it’s a ridiculously HUGE honor. I’m beside myself knowing that the winner’s life will be intensely changed forever. Oh, and we’ll give you a copy of each of our videos (4 in total).” - Jared

On August 1, 2006 Jared Eygabroad and a crew of riders came over to my house in Idaho to enjoy a little piece of what I like to call Heaven. It’s the perfect playground for any water sport enthusiast. It is a place where breaking mirrors brings good luck, skies are blue, the water is warm as well as flat, and the air is an average 90-degrees. This is a place where tubers and jet-skiers are not an issue and if the wind picks up than we just go around the corner.
